As part of the Faringdon development, BGCL constructed the trunk sewer main from the Radar Pump Station to Faringdon and then the northern gravity connection to the Helpet Pump Station in Rolleston.
The key achievements of this project are:
- PVC pipes laid from 375mm diameter to 650mm diameter
- The 3km pipeline was installed in 150 days
- Some pipe depths over 4 metres requiring specialist trench shoring equipment
